About Nicole Scalice- Owner

Nicole currently resides in Kinnelon, New Jersey with her husband and their Golden Retriever, Tucker. During her free time, she enjoys baking, knitting, and spending time outdoors gardening, hiking and skiing. Nicole, a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in New Jersey, is board certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). She also possesses a Speech Language Specialist Endorsement (SLS) from the Department of Education. Nicole completed her Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology at Mercy College in New York and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Rhode Island. Additionally, she obtained a Graduate Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders from Rowan University and is skilled in using Alternative and Augmentative Communication Devices (AAC). She has received training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods and DIRFloortime®. Nicole has a wealth of experience working with children with diverse needs, as well as adolescents and adults. Apart from her private practice, she has worked in Early Intervention, outpatient rehab and private and public-school settings.
